My Server Is Sentient
I was listening to Alizee's rendition of La Isla Bonita playing off my server whilst working on my laptop.
Yes. That's Alizee over there in the video singing the exact same song (the mp3 file I have is an audio rip off the video).
The next song on the playlist was Andy Williams - Love Story (my mum's) which would ruin the mood (it has happened quite a few times actually). So this time, I made sure to enable Shuffle on xmms to skip it.
xmms shuffled to Madonna - La Isla Bonita. (0_O) Out of the other 332 songs I had in my playlist.
I think my server is becoming setient. This isn't the first time it showed signs. It had already chatted with my friends over MSN a few times. They can attest to it (no, it wasn't hacked, it was just me roleplaying as my server. Yeah, I know...).
Arnold: this is not arnold
Arnold: he killed himself a few hours ago
Arnold: i am the linux computer
Last burst of fire: woah power,even his spirit is powerful enough to hog the pc
Arnold: finally that bugger will stop bugging me all the time...
Arnold: but his blood is getting into my circuits though

Arnold: oh shit, short circuitinh
Last burst of fire: yah rite,from here i sense u are like so relax
Arnold: that bloddy dicks blood sure is conductive...
Arnold: *bzzzaaaaaaazz
Last burst of fire: HAHAHA
Last burst of fire: ok ok,i get it..ur FYP is 90% finish
Arnold: *pzzzzzztttt
Arnold: nooooo...
Arnold: my uptime is soooo long...
Arnold: how can i be brought down by haemogoblin???!!

I had the opportunity to listening that video it's the same song but she can perform whatever song she wants, by the way she has a beautiful smile.
I understand why u do it, sometimes I like to do so,
Im just not in the mood the hear em!!
Some times we just need to skip a song to feel better
Music is a great way to scape or encourage ourselves!!
